The JW Marriott Las Vegas was envisioned as a flagship urban resort and convention property in the heart of Las Vegas. This ambitious 3.35 million square foot design included a full-service JW Marriott hotel, expansive convention facilities, retail space, dining, and a prominent casino element. The iconic crystalline blue curtain wall design distinguished the tower among the Las Vegas skyline. As part of the Klai Juba Wald team, Richard McGrew contributed to the project during the schematic design phase, with responsibilities that included production drawings and design refinement of architectural elements for the tower and podium.
